Ecologia

The DIZIOINOXA EcoKompos.T® automatic Collective Composter addresses the needs of all those communities and/or public and private enterprises that want to treat organic wastes simply and automatically and convert them into fertile “Compost” through the use of ecofriendly systems.

This system enables significant waste disposal and transportation cost savings as the organic fraction constitutes approximately 40% of the total Municipal Solid Wastes (MSW).

Composting is an aerobic bio-conversion process that emulates, under controlled conditions, the natural processes of bio-degradation of organic materials.

EcoKompos.T® has been designed to carry out continuously the most important step for converting organic wastes into Compost.

The output of the machine shall be stored outside in order to carry on with the final phase of composting, known as “curing stage”.

How it works

DIZIOINOXA automatic Collective Composter is simple to use.

The process consists of the following key phases:

  • Sorting: to screen organic waste before they are conveyed into the machine.

  • Shredding: to create a uniform organic mass and ensure the proper porosity of aggregate.

  • Mixing: to add structuring material to the Organic Waste, such as dry leaves, straw, residues of pruning, wood pellets, etc .

  • Aerobic bioconversion: to trigger the natural process of biodegradation.

  • Curing: to stabilize the semi-finished material in a proper storage area for 90 days.

How it is done

EcoKompos.T® is entirely made of stainless steel.

It’s a horizontal cylindrical container, of different sizes according to different production requirements. The tank is supported by adjustable legs to vary the slope. It is equipped with a sophisticated, electronically controlled, heating system able to maintain the ideal temperature during the passage of organic matter, which is constantly mixed by a motorized system.

The ventilation system, combined with a refrigerator unit, allows a proper supply of oxygen, as well as air temperature and humidity control.

The control panel is installed in a proper location, according to the needs of the system; it has a very simple layout, easy to read, as shown in the picture. The touch screen panel provides ready access to all composter functions and sensor data; any phases of an ongoing process can be checked and parameters modified. It can be equipped with a remote control system to access remotely  the graphical interface.

Deodorisation filter: this apparatus is aimed at removing possible unpleasant odours from process gases before they are released into the environment.
